St Sampsons High School
CT Glass provided a bespoke balustrade glazing solution with different interior and exterior demands for an independent school in Guernsey.
A leading architectural metal worker approached CT Glass to create a section of balustrades for a school on Guernsey.
The balustrade had to match the existing floor to ceiling blue windows, and provide shade from the sunlight seeping through which was disrupting vision for children and staff during school hours. Various health and safety criteria also had to be met.
CT Glass attended a site visit with the metal worker commissioned to install the balustrade to further clarify the desired specification and to assess the colour matching design required for both the interior and exterior environments.
Intensive testing and sample creation was conducted to create two different colour tones to complement the exterior and interior designs with all the functional and health & safety specification criteria.
