An architectural metal worker based on Guernsey, who frequently works with CT Glass, commissioned the glass processor to create a balustrade for a development titled “The Tower.”
“The Tower” also based on Guernsey, is a unique part private, part art studio development. CT was briefed to supply a balustrade to the private residential wing which would ensure modesty and privacy for tenants. The client has a long standing relationship with CT Glass and was an obvious choice for this project.
A 10mm toughened glass balustrade was created, complete with a sandblasted Ritec coating. This effectively resulted in an opaque effect finish ensuring privacy when in situ.
Due to the location of the development and the client, delivery arrangements were a vital element in the process. CT liaised with the developments project management team to confirm shipping arrangements and delivery.
Why CT Glass?
CT was approached due to the quality of previous projects completed for this client. Their ability to co ordinate their production schedules with their clients ensured deadlines were met.
The balustrade installed met a strict and challenging brief, on time, creating effective frontage to a unique development.
