High Impact at Hugo Boss
CT Glass have supplied glass for a helical staircase for the new Hugo Boss flagship store in Nottingham. CT Glass worked with their customer, an architectural metalwork specialist, who had been tasked with creating a spectacular staircase as centrepiece for the huge new store.
The staircase was fully assembled on site, including 17.5mm toughened laminated low iron glass which was used for the staircase while 21.5mm toughened laminated low iron glass was used for the first floor balustrade, all of which is complimented by a black powder coated slotted steel handrail. Finishing touches include stone treads with stainless steel inserts for a nosing detail and a plaster boarded soffit finished in a matt black paint. The client was exceptionally pleased with the finished article and speed and professionalism with which it was fitted on site.
